1. Lady Gaga told Harpers Bazaar that after the loss of her friend and fashion icon Alexander McQueen she wrote her hit ‘Born this way‘. When her label decided to release the song exactly one year after McQeen’s suicide, it only confirmed her belief that the icon was working through her from the grave. [Yahoo]

2. You may know Amar’e Stoudemire as center and power forward for the New York Knicks, but this fall he will take on a new title… a fashion designer! Amar’e is collaborating with Rachel Roy on her secondary line for this upcoming fall. [WWD]
